The Deck
The deck really gets used Fall through mid Spring. After that, it's really hot and the bugs have a feast on Niki, so evenings out on the porch are limited unless bug spray is used.
We have several plants on the deck, including
5 banana plants, 2 key lime bushes, and several containers of snake plants.The bananas and limes will live in the
foyer in the winter; the snake plants had actually been house plants until Spring 2004.
The last thing we have done on the deck
is build a buffet with my parents on their Memorial Day 2004 visit. Chris and Niki tiled it over the next
few weeks. The tile took a bit of time due to some rain storms that came through suddenly on a Saturday we had
planned to use for tiling.
